DESCRIPTION:

The PIAD-658's symmetric multiprocessing support, allows task assignment on demand to the next available CPU, eliminating system bottlenecks and significantly enhancing processing speed. The PIAD-658 features Intel's 82430HX PCIset with ECC and parity support for data integrity of the memory subsystem.

It further includes an onboard SVGA CRT interface and a DiskOnChip^® 2000 socket for Flash Disks up to 72 MB. It further includes special cicuitry that stabilizes the CPUs temperature and sends an audible sound when one of the CPUs overheats.
