3.5" &
5.25" MiniBoard SBCs
The Arbor 3.5"&5.25" SBC Miniboard product line is designed around
the powerful Core
logic embodied within the Chipsets and CPUs from Intel, VIA, AMD all
designed with highly integrated feature sets packaged into
high-density designs that allow them to fit the minimal/critical space
requirements of most embedded
applications.
These Miniboards are designed to comply with standard
industry form factor standards such as EBX, 5.25" Miniboard
(LittleBoard) and 3.5"
Biscuit profiles.
A number of these designs have additional expansion buses.
PCI, Mini-PCI and PC/104_PC104+
This complete embeddable core logic product line supports a host of
logical user interface connections including in some cases multiple
LANs, multiple USB, IDE and/or SATA drives, Serial and Parallel ports
and often a block of DIO ports

Slot
(SBC) Based Computing
The various designs offered in the Slot Computing boards
category are all based on the open
PICMG standards set which describes how the ISA, PCI &
PCI-ISA data structure makes its way from the SBC / CPU Board to
the Passive
Backplane.
While ISA Bus products predate the PICMG standard and are a legacy bus
that is a simplistic parallel connection of IO connectors, PICMG brings
in the sophistication of the marriage of ISA and PCI into a common form
factor plus PICMG allows for bridging of the PCI bus,
allowing users to add up to 17 PCI boards to a single system.
There is a PICMG variant that allows for a Half Sized PCI only board
for situations where ISA bus expansion is not required.
The PICMG
full size boards are available in either 32-bit or 64-bit (high
bandwidth) designs and high performance devices. All of these slot
based SBCs are ideally suited for application in
compact and rugged enclosures suited for mission-critical applications
in harsh environments.
This category features Half Sized ISA and PCI bus SBCs as well as Full
Length PICMG class boards.

Our product offering includes
ATX, Micro ATX and Mini-ITX standard form factors. All Arbor industrial
motherboards are designed with Intel and AMD CPUs and chipsets.
The designs typically are customer demand driven and based on
information from
system integrators needing long life products for their applications.
There are gaming machine applications using the ATX / mATX and ITX form
factors. There are many
controller applications using the mATX and Mini-ITX form factors and a
host of other Server type applicaitons using our rackmount and wall
mount chassis products.
Arbor-USA can also fully integrate the System board, Chassis,
Peripherals and O/S on a build to order basis if this can be of
assistance to your program needs.

PC Units
Our BOX PC Products are Basic System Level Platforms designed to
meet
the requirements for Controllers, Thin Clients and many other embedded
box / PC appliance
uses.
Our BOX PC products are easily installed & maintained. Many of
these
products have been especially designed to fulfill critical
fanless applications. This includes a new catagory of Box PC product
especially intended to comply with the needs of the Harsh Environment
user that needs extended temperature ranges.
We offer a wide range Box PCs with CPUs and Chipsets from Intel, AMD,
VIA and others. These generally range from high
performance processors to low voltage embedded processors to meet a
wide variety of application
demands.
Arbor's BOX PC Product Line is a commercial off-the-shelf
(COTS)product made for those who are anxious for embedded solutions.
Most Box PC Products are bare bones in that they may require the
addition of Processors,
Memory, Disk Drives (SSD or Rotating) and operating system to complete
the box PC into a fully functional system.
Arbor-USA maintains a configuration and systemization lab that can
provide the fully integrated and functional box PC platforms configured
and tested to your specific request on a Build to Order basis.

Chassis
/ Backplane / Power Supply
Arbor has designed a wide variety of industrial grade
rackmount
and wallmount
computer chassis that feature innovative mechanical designs to
facilitate high
MTBF and low MTTR.
All of our chassis are tested in harsh environments
to ensure their integration capacity and reliability in the most
demanding
situations. These versatile chassis units can be configured with
different
types of Backplanes/SBCs or ATX/mATX Motherboards to meet a customer's
specific application or need.
Rack mount systems can host up to a 20 slot backplane in some cases
which can allow for as many as 17 PCI
devices in a single system. A 20 slot ISA backplane can support up to
19 ISA devices. These larger platforms can create dual or quad SBC
based systems.
The lower profile 1U/2U high chassis feature 16/32 bit, 16/32/64 bit
PICMG riser backplanes and
32 or 64-bit PCI Riser backplanes.
Power supplies for these chassis are also available in a wide variety
of wattages and in some cases levels of redundancy for a well defined
level of fault tolerance.
